Delhi Capitals Women holds the record for making the highest team score in WPL history. They made 223 runs in 20 overs against Bangalore Women on 5th March 2023 at the Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai.

1 Delhi Capitals: 223/2 (vs Bangalore, Brabourne 2023)

Delhi Women holds the record for the highest score in WPL by team. Batting first on March 5, 2023, at the Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai, openers Lanning and Shefali shared a record 162-run partnership for the 1st wicket. Delhi made a massive 223 runs and eventually won the match by 60 runs.

2 Delhi Capitals: 211/4 (vs UP, DY Patil 2023)

On March 7, 2023, Delhi Women posted the second-highest team score in WPL history. It was Delhi’s second 200+ score in consecutive matches. Batting first against UP, Delhi scored a high total of 211 runs thanks to Shefali’s 42-ball 70. In the second innings, Jess Jonassen took 3 wickets and helped Delhi to a 42-run win.

3 Mumbai Indians: 207/5 runs (vs Gujarat, DY Patil 2023)

On March 4, 2023, Mumbai Women recorded the third-highest total in Women’s T20 League history against Gujarat. In the opening match of the WPL 2023, captain Harmanpreet scored a whirlwind 65 off just 30 balls, ably supported by Amelia Kerr’s 45 off 24 balls to take the team to 207 runs in their 20 overs. Chasing a big total, Gujarat were all out for just 64 runs and lost the match by 143 runs.

4 Gujarat Giants: 201/7 runs (vs Bangalore, Brabourne 2023)

Gujarat Giants recorded the fourth-highest total in WPL history on March 8, 2023. Batting first on a flat Brabourne track, Sophie Dunkley (65 off 28) and Harleen Deol (67 off 45) helped Gujarat post 207 in their 20 overs. In the process, Dunkley also registered the fastest 50 in WPL history. In reply, Bangalore scored 190 runs and lost the match by 11 runs.

5 Gujarat Giants: 199/5 runs (vs Bangalore, Delhi 2024)

Gujarat Women holds the record for the fifth-highest WPL score. This is also the highest team score in WPL 2024. In the league match at the batting friendly, Gujarat scored 199 runs thanks to Beth Mooney’s unbeaten 85 and Laura Wolvaardt’s 76. Bangalore made 180 runs in the second innings, with Ash Gardner taking 2 wickets and 4 run-outs.
