Will Pucovski, who played one Test for Australia, confirmed his retirement from cricket on SEN radio on Tuesday and said that he will never play cricket again. He said,

“I am not going to play cricket again. To put it as simply as possible, it has been a very difficult year, I think I need a few hours to tell you about the whole journey… but the simple message is that I will not play cricket again at any level. My journey in the great group of a Test player ends here.”

Played his last first class match last year

Will Pucovski’s career has always been affected due to constant concussion. He played his last first class match in March 2024 last year. In that match, he was hit on the head by Riley Meredith’s ball and he once again became a victim of concussion. Shortly after this, Pucovski said goodbye to international cricket, as the medical team also advised him to do so.

However, he took some time to decide to quit all forms of cricket but now he has made up his mind to distance himself from cricket. If we look at Pucovski’s career, he scored 72 runs in a Test. In 36 first class matches, he has scored 2350 runs at an average of 45.19, which includes seven centuries and nine half-centuries.
