On the day Mohammedan lost in the Bangladesh Premier Football League, their arch-rivals Dhaka Abahani won a big victory. Both matches were held at the Shaheed Dhirendranath Dutta Stadium in Comilla. Yesterday’s Rahmatganj-Mohammedan match was not completed due to adverse weather conditions. That match started today (Wednesday) at 1 pm. Then, Dhaka and Chittagong Abahani faced each other at the same venue at the scheduled time. There has been no recent history of two matches being held on the same day at a district-level stadium. Abahani and Mohammedan also created a special feat of playing outside Dhaka at the same venue on the same day.
