Former national footballer and Mohammedan head coach Alfaz Ahmed came as a special guest at the press conference. The former star footballer said, ‘We have a sincerity with journalists. We know them all. Football is a very interesting game. It’s good to see journalists playing.’

Dr. Jasmine Zaman, Head of Marketing of the sponsoring organization Square Troilets, said, ‘This tournament is a gathering for journalists. It is a joy to see more of a sense of brotherhood than a competitive spirit. Square Group has always been with this tournament and will continue to be with it in the future.’

Then, in his welcome speech, BSJA General Secretary SM Sumon urged everyone to play consciously and avoid any injuries in the tournament.
