Bangladesh and Afghanistan will play a two-format series in October. The schedule of the series was already known. Now, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has officially announced the upcoming white-ball series. The Bangladesh-Afghan series will start in the United Arab Emirates on October 2 with a T20. The ACB wants to provide a world-class cricket experience at a neutral venue.
The Asia Cup will start from September 9 and will continue till September 28. After that, the Bangladesh-Afghanistan series will be played. The two teams will play 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is during this tour. As a result, both the teams will not get much of a break after the Asia Cup. The first T20I of the series will be played on October 2. The remaining two matches of the series will be played on October 3 and 5 respectively.
