While talking to the media, Mithun said, “I cannot name you specifically now. Discussions are still going on between us. We will nominate the person who will work in the interest of our cricketers as the leader. You see, many people work for personal interests, many work for everyone. A leader should be someone who will work for everyone. We are looking for such a person.”

“Someone who will think about all of us. Not just the Premier, first-class leagues, but also the district leagues. He will pay attention to the fact that the district league is not happening. Games are stopped in every district, the responsibility lies with the COAB. If there was a strong unit of the COAB in the district, they could have discussed with the district commissioner, the district sports officer. They would have taken the initiative to start the game,” added Mithun.
